Responsibilities:
Set up, roll out and evolve manufacturing processes
Boost productivity and pinpoint opportunities to automate tasks in crucial areas
Work with detailed specifications and choose the best concepts to implement new and improved processes
Identify and verify critical process controls and preventive measures using 8D, 5W, Ishikawa, and SWOT techniques
Define areas to improve quality and coordinate changes with actual costs, yield, failure rates and KPIs in mind
Select machine suppliers and calculate return on investment
Draft and actualize work instructions and teach technical regulations
Prepare and update production-related documentation in line with the supplier manual, internal guidelines and applicable standards
Train operators and technicians on process standards and improvements
Qualification:
A BSc or MSc in mechatronics or electrical, mechanical or automation engineering
Three to five years’ experience in a similar position (recent graduates and entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply)
A solid technical background in wire bonding is an advantage
A creative, inquisitive outlook paired with a systematic approach to problem solving
A collaborative mindset and the ability for working in cross-functional teams
Fluent spoken and written English skills and a firm grasp of technical language
